Dr. Roy Kraemer

Dr. Kraemer has attended Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University from 1997-1991 (Boston, MA). He has a special interest in Bulldog and other Brachycephalic breeds, and their special need, such as breathing and airways conditions, orthopedics, ear canal disease, skin and allergy problems. as well as other medical conditions related to the breed.

Dr. Kraemer is also a well-known for his interest in regenerative medicine and the founder of StemCell4Pet.com. At Vet4HealthyPet Advanced Medical Care we offer alternative non pharmaceutical therapies for pain relief, wound repair, inflammatory condition in the form of cutting edge healing modalities including a state of the art in house stem cell therapy, Cryobanking, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), class 4 cold laser and Pulse Electromagnetic Therapy (PEMT). Dr. Kraemer also has a large following of other dog breeds and cat owners, providing wellness and preventative care, a wide range of surgical and dental service, orthopedics, radiology, cardiology, ultrasonography, etc. The Vet4HealthyPet team has been working closely with the Southern California Bulldog Rescue (SCBR), providing shelter, medical and surgical services for over a decade.

Dr. Kraemer and his family are the proud owners of a rescue dog named Lily who was left at the hospital parking lost as a 6w old puppy and a stray cat they rescued from oversea. He is an avid cyclist, scuba diver and enjoys hiking and camping with his daughters and wife.

Dr. Kristen Hurn

Kristen Hurn attended Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences from 2011-2015 with an emphasis on small animal and exotic animal medicine. During her university years, she completed externships at SeaWorld, the Marine Mammal Center at Fort MacArthur, and overseas at Obihiro University in Japan. Following graduation, she completed a one year-rotating internship in Emergency Medicine at Southwest Veterinary Specialists in San Antonio while rotating through the San Antonio Zoo and SeaWorld San Antonio.

Dr. Hurn has a passion for preventive care medicine with an emphasis on nutrition and dental polyphyletic care. Dr. Hurn also has a passion for marine mammal medicine which lead her to move from Texas to California to work with marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation. She also works part-time at the Marine Mammal Care Center of LA rescuing and rehabilitating seals and sea lions. Dr. Hurn also spent many years overseas in Japan and enjoys speaking conversational Japanese with her friends and clients.

In her free time, your will find Dr. Hurn hiking, baking, singing karaoke, and practicing Japanese with exchange students. She is excited to meet you and for furry family member and discuss all of your preventive care and health needs.

Dr. Yoo

Dr. Yoo’s love for animals began as a child while growing up with all sorts of animals – dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs, goats, horses, chickens, ducks, geese, peacocks, fish, and tortoises. His interest in animals led him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

After receiving his animal science degree from UC Davis, he came back down to So Cal to attend Western University of Health Sciences, where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2011. Since then, he has been practicing at multiple successful private practices throughout SoCal before joining the team at Vet4HealthyPet. His interests are in surgery and internal medicine.

Friends and colleagues describe Dr. Yoo as friendly, personable, and reliable. Dr. Yoo feels blessed to have such an awesome and rewarding career and can genuinely say that he enjoys coming to work. When he is away from the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and woodworking.
